Advertised Rates

Advertised accommodation rates are based on ‘room rate only’ and are current at the time of writing. These rates are subject to change at any time. Rates for a 1 bedroom apartment are based on up to 2 people staying and rates for a 2 bedroom apartment are based on up to 4 people staying.

Quotes

When quotes are given for ‘specials’ they are only valid for 48 hours and subject to availability, (although we will endeavour to keep quotes the same if booked later).

Office hours and late check-in instructions

Office Hours: Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 16:30

Saturday: 08:30 – 12:00

Sunday & public holidays: Closed

Please note these hours are subject to change at short notice.

24-hour check-in is available via the after-hours check in phone. If you arrive outside reception opening hours, please pick up the black phone on the wall located on the entrance way for the after-hours check-in service and assistance.

Car Parking

Please note that parking is limited to 1 car space per apartment. The covered parking area has a maximum height of 2.1 metres.

Payment

Bookings will only be secured after full payment has been received. If the credit card supplied a declined, management reserves the right to cancel the booking.

Payment Options

Payment of deposits can be made by cash, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Bankcard, JCB, Union Pay – no surcharge, Amex – 2% surcharge), travellers cheque or bank cheque. Bookings made by cash or credit card will be immediately secured. Bookings made by travellers cheque or bank cheque will only be secured once the cheque has arrived Surfers Riverside (which must be within 72 hours of making the booking).

Security Deposit

A security deposit of AUD 200 is required upon arrival for incidental charges. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out and subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation. Only credit card deposit, no cash deposit is accepted for after-hours check-in. Please note that all apartments are individually furnished and the photos are presented as a guide only.

Cancellation

If cancelled or modified up to 30 days before date of arrival, a fixed amount of AUD 200 will be charged or total amount to be charged if it is less than AUD200. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Amendments to Bookings

All amendments are made subject to availability. If there is no availability for the new dates required, the booking will be cancelled and subject to the standard cancellation fees.

At the manager’s discretion we reserve the right to charge an amendment fee of $50.

No amendments will be accepted within 7 days prior to check-in.

Our Rooms and Facilities

We make our greatest effort to describe the rooms and facilities of Surfers Riverside Apartments accurately. However, Surfers Riverside and its apartments are individually furnished and sometimes upgraded, renovated or changed. Surfers Riverside, their staffs or their agents cannot be held liable for any errors or omissions about our property’s apartments, services or facilities.

Any photos of rooms advertised by Surfers Riverside or it’s agents may not be specific to the room allocated and is presented as a guide only.

Special Requests

Every Special Requests (include specific bedding configuration and riverview apartments request) are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

House Rules and Extra Charges

All guests are subject to the ‘house rules’ and are also subject to any penalties made by their management for breaking those rules including eviction (all at the manager’s discretion).

Eviction will result in the forfeiture of any money paid.

Any damage to an apartment or common area made by any member of your party will result in the repair charge being paid for by the ‘lead’ guest. Cost for damage will include materials, labour and a charge for the manager’s time.

As you are staying in ‘self-contained’ apartments, you are expected to leave the apartment ‘clean’, with all dishes washed and rubbish removed. If the manager deems the apartment to have not been left clean, there will be cleaning charges applied to your nominated credit card or deposit.

Lost keys will be subject to a charge of $250/set.

If you lock yourself out of your apartment ‘out of hours’ (between 4.30pm and 8.30am) and require the manager to let you in, you will be charged $75 for this service.

Party Policy

Surfers Riverside Apartments has a zero tolerance on any parties (include hen or stag night) or loud noises being held in any of our apartments after 8pm. Instant eviction will occur for any parties.

Guests must sign the property’s ‘Conditions of booking & occupancy’ policy on arrival

Failure to comply with property policies may result in the eviction of guests and the loss of any deposits or payments made.

Identification

Guests are required to show a valid photo ID and credit card upon check-in.

Special Requests

Please note that all Special Requests (include specific bedding configuration and riverview apartments) are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Currency

All prices quoted by Surfers Riverside are in Australian dollars and are payable in Australian dollars only. All prices include Goods and Services Tax (GST).

Children & extra bed:

Children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing beds.

All older children or adults are charged AUD 30 per person per night for extra beds.

All children under 2 years are charged AUD 15 per person per night in a crib/cot.

The maximum number of extra beds in a room is 2.

The maximum number of cribs/cot in a room is 1.
